That’s the question I was asking my self when I first heard about it at the Gateway to Wealth seminar I attended here in Dallas on Oct 23.

The best way I can describe it, is an all in one, simple to use, website and/or blog CMS on steroids that has the capability to do all of your initial marketing tasks for you with a push of a button. This I believe will revolutionize the way businesses and internet marketers will build their websites from now on and is an excellent example of the concept of leverage that I teach on this site.

Now, let me go into more detail of what a Quansite is and what implications it could have for your business if you take advantage of it right away.

The process of marketing on the internet today requires you to be everywhere all the time. You need to be on Facebook, Twitter, Squidoo, social media sites like YouTube, and social bookmarking sites to get the most coverage for your site and your offers.

You also need to have a basic understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) if you want to get picked up and ranked by the search engines.

The process of publishing new content on the web goes something like this.

1. Write an original SEO optimized piece of content and/or produce it into a video (which is highly recommended)
2. Post that content and video to your website or blog
3. Then ping the search engines to let them know you have new fresh content
4. Then social bookmark the page on all the major bookmarking sites
5. Post the video to all the major social media sites
6. Tweet the post to your twitter followers
7. Let your Facebook and Myspace friends know about the hot new content
8. Post an update to your Squdioo lens and/or Hub Page

In reality, this very seldom gets done to that extent because it can take up to 4+ hours to do all of that manually. That’s where Quansite comes in.

WordPress Comes With Many SEO Friendly Features Right Out the Box

1. The overall layout of the code is generally very SEO friendly, because it allows the spiders to crawl the content of a page before crawling the side bar. This allows the most important part of the page to be crawled first, thus given it more weight. Since your target keywords are in the content, it is more likely that your page will rank better for those keywords.
2. When a new post is created, WordPress automatically sets the link to the post as the title of the post. Because the two most important on page SEO Factors are page title and link anchor text, it by default will boost your post’s search engine rankings, as long as you include your target keywords in the title.
3. WordPress comes with SEO friendly URLs called permalinks, which can be turned on in the WordPress settings. These permalinks can be customized to include your main keywords which helps to raise your rankings by having the keyword in the URL.
4. Tag pages allow you to group content by relevant tags, which gives your site more internal linking power through the creation of new pages and also allows you to create relevant pages around targeted keywords. Hopefully driving in more traffic and long tail keyword traffic.

So What Can Be Done To Improve This Already Good Search Engine Optimization Strategy

There are some very easy modifications you can make that will really help your blogs SEO friendliness.

Make sure your Home link does not just say “Home”

Studies have shown that Google puts the highest amount of importance to the first link it finds on a page. For most WordPress themes, that is the “Home” link. Basic SEO theory tells us that the anchor text of your internal links is very important. So if you want your blog to rank for say “Gardening” you would want the home link for your site to say “Gardening” or at the very least include the keyword in the anchor text to your home page.

Some themes have this feature built in already by using the header text as the home link, but in more advance themes that use a logo in place of the header, this functionality is lost or becomes less effective. Many theme designers try and alleviate the problem is through the use of the image Alt=” ” tag. This allows you to add a description to the image, it is unclear if this help with SEO or not, but it is a good idea to have it in place just in case.

Another way to solve this problem is by placing a row of your most important links above the header so that the search engines will spider those first before moving do the page, and you can include a “Home” link with what ever anchor text you want.

Make Sure The Pages You Don’t Want Indexed, Don’t get Indexed

Do you have an “About Us” or “Contact Us” page that you really don’t need stealing PR from your other content pages. The best way to do this is by using the rel=”nofollow” tag for those links to the pages.

Due to the dynamic nature of WordPress this can be a little tricky, because you may not want all of your pages to not be indexed, adding the “nofollow” tag to the dynamic URL in the code just won’t do.

You can use the META Robots (no-index, no-archive, ect) tag however to accomplish the same goal.

Fortunately, there is a plugin that allows you to customize the META setting for individual pages, categories, and even posts, it’s called HeadSpace2. It is a bit more advanced then the All In One SEO plug in that everyone recommends and takes a little bit to get use to, but it’s worth the effort, because you get much more control over your sites SEO structure.

Make Sure You Include Your Target Keywords in the Category and Tag Pages Navigation Links

This can be a bit tricky because you want your sites navigation to be human friendly first and spider friendly as well.  The best way to do this is to not go overboard with keyword stuffing, make sure your make navigation easy to understand by humans first and use your keywords only where it makes sense to do so.

If you use the HeadSpace2 plug in you can set the category description and the title of the category pages. So you can have a category called “Men’s Fitness” and set the title of the page to optimize for the longer tail phrase “Ways for a Man to Improve Fitness” for example.

This allows you to keep your navigation short and simple and keep your category pages titles descriptive and help your target the long tail as well.

Make Sure Your Ads are “NoFollow”

Ads are a common place where people forget to make the links “nofollow”. If you have a theme with ad space built in, check the code and make sure the links all have the rel=”nofollow” tag. Other wise you will lose a lot of “link juice” over your entire site.

If you use an external plug in do the same thing, and make sure all external links are nofollow.

These simple modifications will help to improve your sites internal link structure, preserve its Page Rank by keeping the followed external links to only the pages that you deem worthy, and keep the PR spread across only the most important pages of your blog.

If you implement these WordPress SEO Strategies, you will greatly increase your blogs chances of being ranked  highly in the search engines for your target keywords and you should see an increase in traffic as a result.

The biggest problem with manually social bookmarking your sites is that it takes time, a lot of time, to set up accounts and bookmark all your web properties. Not to mention disheartening, when you see all your efforts go down the trash if your account get banned from the social bookmarking sites for too much “self promotion”.

I knew there had to be a better way, so I went searching for a piece of software that could automate the process and make it much more streamlined. There were a few to choose from, but after some researching it came down to two, Social Submitter and Bookmarking Demon.

I had tried Social Submitter before, when they were first getting started using a free trial, and I wasn’t really impressed with it at the time. I decided to go ahead with Bookmarking Demon, having watch all their demonstration videos, it seemed to work pretty good.

I made the $150 investment knowing that if it worked as well as it seemed to in the videos I could make that back pretty fast.

I have to say I was surprised to find it actually works pretty damn well. Not to say I am not happy about that, but I really expected it not to work like in the videos. Well, gladly I was wrong.

If you have ever tried to setup separate accounts on all the social bookmark sites out there you know that it can take a full day just to get one account setup on each site. With Bookmarking Demon I am able to set up accounts on over 100 sites in a matter of 10 minuets. Which is a huge time saver and it even backs up your user names and passwords so you don’t ever have to remember them again.

The process is not without its faults, there are a few sites that have trouble during account creation, but its limited to about 5%. Which really is not bad considering sites change daily.

The actual bookmark process is really pretty simple and Bookmarking Demon has some built in features that really make the whole process much more effective then trying to do it manually.

First, is the text Spinning feature that allows you to randomly change your titles and descriptions for each bookmarking site. This help get by the duplicate content filters and makes sure that more of your bookmarks get indexed by the search engines. Which means more traffic and more back links.

Second, Bookmarking Demon has a built in spider software that crawls your site and pulls in every page to be bookmarked in a matter of seconds, complete with descriptions and tags pre-filled in for you to modify. This is a huge time saver and is completely customizable.   You can add and delete what ever pages you want.

Third and the most genius, is the ability to add RSS feeds to your social bookmarks that the software will randomly pick from to during bookmarking. This allows your bookmarks seem much more natural and tremendously reduces the chances of your accounts getting banned.

To give you an idea of the power of bookmarking demon, I did a test run on this very site. Using the software I bookmarked every post, category page, and tag page at the time and was able to get every page bookmarked on over 45 sites in a matter of about 2 hours.

That’s 2 hours for the whole process, which included:

• Creating 3 new accounts each on over 100 social bookmark sites
• Crawling My Site
• Spinning the Titles and Descriptions of my Bookmarks
• Submitting My Bookmarks

Why only 45 sites? Because I have the software set up to randomly pick between 50%-65% of my sites to be bookmarked across 50%-65% of my accounts. That way my chances are even less of getting my accounts banned.

Over all it was about 25 pages submitted to 45 sites each, or 1125 submissions, in two hours. I want to see you just get 3 accounts set up on 45 bookmarking sites manually in 2 hours, I bet you can’t do it.

There are even more feature I haven’t discussed with you yet, but I am not going to. The best thing for you to do is check out bookmarking demon for your self, watch the videos and see what you think.

The process is very simple. You take one of your article and create a slide show out of it using Power Point or Keynote and the you run through the presentation and record it with Camtasia or Screenflick. For best results, it is a good idea to narrate your presentation and use the “floating head” display if you have a video camera or web cam.

This does two things, it makes the video much more interesting and gives the viewers a personal connection to you by hearing your voice and seeing your face. This creates familiarity and trust and make people more apt to listen to what you have to say and actually take action on your advice.

You don’t even have to rewrite your articles. There is no fear of duplicate content, I would however, re title your videos to something different then your articles. That way it won’t get filtered out of the SERPs on the same pages as your articles.

Once you have your videos created you want to get it on as many video sharing site that you possibly can. That means upload it to YouTube all the other video sites you can find. There is a great service called Traffic Geyser that does all the video submitting for you and is a great way to leverage your time and the amount of traffic your videos will generate.

By doing this you will really ramp up your marketing campaigns, and join ranks with the elite marketers. It is so simple, and the results you get are way too good for you not to do it. Go ahead and make a video today and get it out there on the web sending traffic back to you.

The one thing that all the article submission services have in common is the syntax for spinning the content of your articles. For example, to randomly change a word in a sentence you would use this syntax {word1|word2|word3} so that each time the article is spun it would randomly pick one of those words.

Words can also be nested like this {word1|{word2|word2.1|word2.2}|word3} so that you can create as many variations as you want. This is used most effectively to spin full sentences or paragraphs.

For example, {{This is sentence number one| Sentence one goes here}| {This is sentence number two| Sentence two goes here}| {This is sentence number three| Sentence three goes here}}

I think you get the idea. The more variations you can provide the better, remember you want to get pass duplicate content filters and the only way to do that is by not having large groups of spun text exactly like the others. This can also be done for the anchor text of your links in the authors resource box which allows you normalize the back link structure to your site in the eyes of Google.

I would like to be able to recommend some software to you that will do this automatically, but I have yet to find one that works well and has no major bugs. So for now it is best to do it manually. You can however sign up for a free account at JetSubmitter and get randomized versions of your spun articles to submit to article directories and social article sites like Squidoo and HubPages.

If you use Unique Article Wizard or Article Marketing Automation to automatically submit you articles to article directories and blog networks then it automatically randomizes the articles for you. Except UAW requires that you write 2 separate spun articles so that it can automatically randomize on the paragraph level as well. Which is a really good idea.

In the end you want to be able to have good flowing, grammatically correct, randomizable (if that’s even a word) articles that can be used with the majority of article submission services out there, so that your article get as maximum of exposure as they possibly can with minimal effort on your part.

The last thing I need to discuss with you is the importance of spinning your article titles. When Google indexes your articles on other sites the title of the page is usually the title of your article, when there are multiple sites indexed with the same title, Google will filter them down to what they deem the most important site. This causes your article to lose exposure in the search engines and also hurts the number of back links to your site.

You want to create as many unique titles for your articles as you can so that they are not filtered out of the SERPs. You can use the same syntax as above to accomplish this, and UAW and AMA allow you to do this very easily when you upload your articles to be submitted.

Well there you have it, everything you need to know on how to properly “spin” an article so that it wont get picked up by the duplicate content filters and allow you articles to bring in more traffic and add more SEO value to your site.

Here a quick recap of what you need to do

• Spin (rewrite) each article 2 times using the syntax discussed above
• Always keep the same formatting as the original article, i.e. same number of paragraphs, same number of line break, etc.
• Make sure each paragraph says the same thing, for example, paragraph 3 in the original article, should have the same point or message as paragraph 3 in the spun article
• Create as many titles for the article that you possibly can
• Spin on a paragraph or sentence level as much as possible
• Use multiple synonyms for as many words as possible, but make sure the article still flows well
• Create multiple author resource boxes with variations of anchor text for the links back to your site
• Get your spun unique articles on as many article directories and blogs as you can

Article marketing has the ability to drive traffic to your site and boost your search engine rankings at the same time. When done properly each article you write has the potential to drive in hundreds of visitors to your site every day.

The average person will submit one or two articles to one or two article directories and sit back and wait for the traffic to start pouring in, and when that doesn’t happen they give up and dismiss article marketing as an effective marketing strategy.

They don’t get the results they were hoping for because they did not give their articles enough exposure to be effective. When you write an article, you want to get it in front of as many people  as you possibly can so you can generate as much traffic as possible to your website, sales page, opt in page, etc.

Here are the Steps to Explode Your Article Marketing Campaigns

1. Write a great article (350 – 500 words). Don’t just say anything or put down nonsense, really add some value for the reader. You want to build trust and respect in the readers eyes so that they want to hear more from you and become much more responsive to your sales letters.
2. Develop a good author resource box directing traffic back to your site using your target keywords in your links
3. Submit your article to EzineArticles.com for approval (can take up to 2 weeks) then once its approved bookmark it on all the social bookmark sites out there.
4. “Spin” your article so you can submit a unique version to other article directories
5. Submit your uniquely spun versions of the articles to as many article directories as you can find, but not until it is approved and posted on EzineArticles.com. Then, social bookmark those articles as soon as they are approved.
6. Submit a unique version of your article to social media sites like Squidoo.com and Hubpages.com and be sure to include a link back to your site using your target keywords. Then social bookmark them as soon as you get them posted. Notice a pattern here
7. Contact related blog owners and ask if they would like unique content for their blogs and give them a unique version of your article to post and then, yep you guessed it, social bookmark the articles as soon as they are posted.

You are probably thinking that is a lot of steps and must take a lot of time to complete, well your right. If you were to try and do all this manually you would probably never finish. Just manually setting up one account on all the social bookmark sites can take a full day.

But, don’t worry I am going to show you how you can get all this done in a mere fraction of the time it would take to do manually, but first you need to understand why we are going to all this trouble in the first place.

What do you mean by “Spin” my articles and why do I need to do that anyways?

It would be great if you could just write an article and submit it to as many places that would take it. Unfortunately, Google has something called the duplicate content penalty, that penalizes sites that display the same content that is found somewhere else on the web word for word. Many article directories are human moderated and reject articles that are already displayed on another site.

There are two ways around this problem.

• You can write a different article for each article directory you want to submit to.
• Or you can “Spin” your articles so that they are not picked up by the duplicate content filters.

The first solution is extremely time consuming or, expensive if you out source your article writing and is not a practical way of doing it.

The second solution is still somewhat time consuming, but in about the same time it would take to write one brand new article you can literally turn your original article into thousands of unique articles that you can submit all over the web with out fear of the duplicate content filter. That is what Leveraged Internet Marketing is all about, getting more return for less work.

Spinning an article means to rewrite it in a way that it will not trigger the duplicate content filters. There are right and wrong ways to spin an article, see my post How to Spin Articles for Maximum Exposure for a guide on how to spin your articles properly.

Submit, Submit, Submit

The next step would be to start submitting you unique articles to as many article directories as you possibly can. This can be a painstakingly tedious and long process when done manually and even if you use an article submission software that helps automate the process, you still have to spend hours, day after day, submitting articles.

I would venture to say that you don’t have that kind of time to devote to submitting articles, no one does. 

Fortunately There is a Better Way

There are a few good services out there that will submit your articles to thousands of article directories and blogs all over the web, automatically. All you have to do is upload your spun article to their site and they do all the work for you. Asides from them writing your articles for you as well, it doesn’t get much easier than that.

I currently use two services Unique Article Wizard (UAW) and Article Marketing Automation (AMA) and I am very happy with one so far.

• Unique Article Wizard: Submits articles to primarily article directories, but also to blogs and other sites that request articles from them for content for their sites. They send daily submission reports and weekly search engine index reports so you can keep track of the whole process. Each article I have submitted so far has gone out to 1000+ directories and other sites.
• Article Marketing Automation: Submits articles to only blog and other content sites, no article directories. They offer the same tracking and notification services as UAW. Articles submitted here usually go out to around 500 – 1000 sites.

Why do I use both services? Because by using UAW and AMA together guarantees my articles complete coverage across both the article directories and blog networks maximizing its exposure and my benefit.

On a side note, it is a good idea when using services such as UAW and AMA to set it up so that they submit your article at a frequency of about 50 per day, so that you build back links over time to appear more natural to the search engines.

Bookmark Like Your Business Depends On It. Because it Does

The next thing you need to do is ensure that your articles are found by potential buyers and the search engines.  The easiest way to do this is by social bookmarking your articles across all the social bookmarking sites.

This ensures that your articles will be indexed by the search engines quickly and allow your articles to start ranking for search terms as well as start passing the link juice back to your linked sites within the articles and help it rank for its target keywords even faster.

There are 3 ways this can be done

• Manually sign up for all the social bookmark sites and then manually submit all you articles on all the sites that they appear on. Doing it this way would eat up every last second of your time, every day and just isn’t humanly possible.
• A better alternative to manual submissions is by using the free service at SocialMarker.com which helps to automate the process so you can submit one site across about 60 social bookmark sites in a period of about 15mins. But, you still have to manually sign up for memberships to all the sites and you still have to be involved throughout the entire submission process which still eats up a lot of your time.
• The best way to get all your articles bookmarked is by using an automated submission software. I currently use Bookmarking Demon and love it. This software save hours upon hours of my time. It automates every aspect of the submission process. I can create multiple accounts across about 100 social bookmarking site in a matter of minuets and it has the ability to submit multiple sites at once completely hands free. It also has a built in feature that allows you to bookmark from RSS feeds and randomize the accounts it uses to submit your sites to. This helps keep you from being banned from the bookmarking sites for being a “self promoter” and help your submissions feel more natural.
